The stick is garbage and gets loose after 12 minutes of Mario Party. The layout would be fine if anything actually used the dpad as a dpad.

It doesn't hold up compared to anything. OBJECTIVELY the worst library of any 'mainstream' console in any gen. A crock of vaseline-smeared, almost universally low-FPS, badly textured (lol dat miniature texture buffer) shit.

I don't get why people bash on the design and make jokes about needing 3 hands to hold it properly. IMO the whole thing with having multiple ways to hold it is pretty ingenious. These days you just have to twist your thumbs around uncomfortably in order to switch between the D-pad or thumbstick.
