I got an R35S for $50. It plays almost every game I wanted an RP3+ for, but with many sacrifices. For example... Sonic Adventure 2 seems to... ADD lighting and shading that never existed in the game before? It makes it look like everything has a bright light aimed at them from their crotches. I just really, really hate the fucking positioning of the analog sticks, d-pad, and face buttons though. Especially when ArkOS defaults to shit like using L2/R2 as L1/R1 for DreamCast so you gotta fucking REACH to use L2/R2 to rotate the camera while pressing face buttons for actions. I realize they were trying to make a better clone of the Powkiddy RGB20S but they really, really should have fucking switched the stick placement.
I also got one of these at Value Village and it feels pretty fucking comfy.

My end goal for the moment is to just use my SF2000s as I currently am, playing DS and 3DS games on my Z Flip5 as well as Pokemon Go, Game Dev Story (NOT Tycoon), and Sonic Speed Simulator in Roblox (seriously that shit plays better than most 3D Sonic games since Sonic Adventure 2), and once the R35S arrives using that for the specific few N64, DreamCast, and PS1 games I know it can handle and want to play in handheld form (like Ape Escape and Sonic Adventure 2). For now, as I have been, I use my tablet and 8bitdo zero2 for N64, SF2000 for Genesis and Gameboy, and RG35XX for SNES, PSX, and GBA.

So this thing got the white screen of death after I plugged it into my computer to charge it, turns out it was simply due to a dirty connection due to whoever assembled it in China. This video fixed everything;
