It's a good game with some flaws or weak points. The good still outweighs the bad though, because most of the time you'll be on battles, which is the best thing about the game, a mix of wrestling and RPG with a unique hybrid turn based/action system, and leveling for individual body parts. You keep unlocking new techniques as you go (and depending what kind of attacks you use/what kind of damage you receive). By the end game you'll be having lots of fun doing some mad combos with wrestling suplexes.
The weak part of the game is the forced third person shooter element, you only get 1 gun, it's not very satisfactory to use, and honestly the enemies (mostly small vigilant robots) aren't very engaging or interesting.
There is also some platforming/adventure parts that can be a bit frustrating, but eh, it's also not horrible. There's also some survival horror-ish sections where you have to run away from a giant mutant monster, that's cool.
The TPS (and some platforming, that can also be a bit frustrating) is still not the majority of the game though, only in certain sections of the dungeons.
So if you don't mind some bland dungeon crawling, the battles themselves actually do pay off.
It also has this very late 90s X-files conspiracy atmosphere, mixed with some Metal Gear-ish elements too (staff of Hybrid Heaven worked on the MSX metal gears, and Snatcher). So if you like that, you will probably dig this one too. It's not Kojima though, so don't expect MGS, or stealth or anything like that, this is a completely different kind of game.
