Jontron is a huge fan of Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie/Conker, his old character art in his intro has him wearing Banjo's pants and backpack. He's also friends with Grant Kirkhope, Grant was actually on Game Grumps when Jon was still on, and he likely got in on doing VA work through Grant.
