Can confirm, at the time I was looking forward to the PC-FX as the successor to the PCE but looking at the games coming out for PX-FX, SS, and PS I ended up getting a Saturn instead.
Although if I'd known the Saturn version of Tokimeki Memorial would be released a year later than the PS one I might have gone PS. I loved elf's games on Saturn though so it all worked out in the end.
