Mega Man's MM8 sprite is more or less equivalent in height to the MM7 sprite, and the screen resolution in some 2D PS games like the former are really not that much larger than the SNES'

In fact, I'd say MM7 feels way more crowded than the original Megaman & Bass because of the beefier style, though yeah the Advance version's playability is still crippled
