I switched to linux a year or so ago and have been hopping DEs the whole time. Cinnamon was my "it just werks" but they made a change recently I wasn't really happy with so I ditched it. Openbox + muh panels + a bunch of qt programs is pretty much all I need.

I liked IceWM too but I went way too hard on the retro look for a while and burnt out on it pretty hard.
