Super Saiya Densetsu is a 16-bit remake of the first 2 Famicom DBZ games.
There was a 3rd one released on the Famicom in 1992, released after the Super Famicom one.
There is also DBZ Gaiden which inspired the OVAs.
Play those if you liked SSD.

It's often mentioned on Dragon Ball vidya threads, even on /v/. That game was very popular thanks to emulators back in the early 00s. It's pretty good, a 16-bit remake of the first 2 Famicom DBZ games.

The third part remained only on Famicom, it was actually released late into the Famicom's life, and after Super Saiyajin Densetsu on SFC.
There is also DBZ Gaiden (which served as the source for the OVAs).
