I'm looking to play Shadowman on either my PC or my Dreamcast. I've heard that running the PC version with anything beyond a 30 FPS cap breaks movement/attack speed and some menus. However, I've also heard that the Dreamcast version has a 60 FPS cap (that I assume is not stable) instead of 20 or 30. So is the Dreamcast version also fundamentally broken in the same way as the PC port or is it perfectly fine and the PC version is just a flawed port?

Michael was the first black protagonist of a videogame that I can remember. And he's the most complex and interesting hero I had encountered at the time in anything that wasn't straight up an adventure game or an RPG, like stuff specifically made for stories. And here he was this big grand spooky action adventure game that was just as long as an RPG without the grindan. I'm white, and I guess Micheal being black wasn't really something I had thought of too much.

But some of my friends were black and one really loved borrowing the game and playing it when he was over at my house. Eventually it kinda clicked with me that playing as a badass that looked like him meant something to him. After I beat Shadowman I remember giving it to him and being really excited about it.

Eventually we both ended up collecting the comic and like sharing our issues with each other since like neither of us has all of them.

I don't think I have a point, I'm just remembering shit and rambling.
