Indeed, it's another reason I still play standalone Sonic 3 from time to time, it's just a nice way to end a playing session on, feels cozy and overall it fits Sonic quite perfectly to me, a true classic.

I know this is bait, but on the chance that it isn't, or that it is bait/shitposting, but motivated by at least a few of this anon's real feeling on things... no one really cares that much about 90's console wars anymore, at least not here since most of us are adults now, it doesn't matter what company sold the most units of their product, nor does it matter which franchise gets better reviews, sold more, etc... we're no longer in the 90's where we have to pretend to have the competing console, despite playing it at our friend's place every time we go there and loving it, just because we can't afford both at the same time. If people here are still playing Sonic, it's not because the character won or lost the console/mascot/gameplay war or whatever, it's because it's still fun to play to us.
