I was a huge Street Fighter 2 fan and loved playing it back in 1992.

I was fascinated with the strategy, combos, exploits, etc and built myself up to be one of the best players at the local pizza arcade

A friend of mine got this EGM back in those days and it said you could unlock Sheng Long (supposedly Ryu's master trainer) if you got to Bison without being touched then going 10 rounds without Bison touching you ending in Sheng Long coming out and throwing him out

the funniest part is I forgot to take into consideration that it was the april issue and actually set out on a mini-quest to do this

also mortal kombat was shrouded in rumors and mystery ever since it was found that you really could fight reptile in the first game

One MK2 rumor said you could go into the trees and fight the keibler elves (?)
