Guy who did the Aeris spoiler here, I wished you guys told me in the thread you didn't like it, I constantly try to improve things and did make 4 versions until everyone said they liked it, but there was zero negative feedback on the final version. And it's really hard to tell when you're making something if it looks convoluted or not, because you can't distance from it and see it from a fresh look.
Now we're stuck with this and no ones benefits from it. If you still have anything you'd liked changed I don't mind trying to improve it and with luck moot will accept it. I don't mind starting from scratch either, maybe there needs to be a more clear pic of Aeris.
And yes there are way better ones (link's chest, the mimic one are my favorites). Exactly what happened recently with the banners, they dismissed the community favorites and just chose ones with who knows what criteria. Moot's dismissive behavior towards it didn't help either.

To further my point, dingoo A320 can run GBA
My 6 year old nokia cellphone with fucking symbian can run GBA
My cousin who is 6 years old got GBA running all by himself in his little toddler school-appointed laptop.

Seeing as you're a macfriend you can try your luck with openemu which is specifically for people who have no idea how to emulators
