I remember when I played LTTP when it came out and I got to this area. I was like, "Holy shit it's the Sacred Grove!" Then you pull out the Kokiri's Emerald, Goron's Ruby, and Zora's Sapphire and, whooooa, now you have the Goddess Sword. Awesome!

LttP is a very well rounded game that succeeds at being the most balanced Zelda game. Almost everything is fun to do in it. It's just very bland compared to the others in the series, that's all. The overworld is too small and straightforward, the enemy designs are nothing special, and as others have already pointed out, it's not challenging enough. When you compare it to the others you find that it doesn't have the worldbuilding or story that can match Oot or MM, and lacks the challenge of Zelda I and II. It's a game that does everything well enough but which doesn't excel in any way.

That being said I still love it, It's got a certain charm which makes it endlessly endearing to me.

What are the bad sides/flaws of this game? I personally can't see any, but I can't believe that it's a perfect game.
