Arguably the best Gradius, but was never released outside of Japan. The Gradius Collection on PSP has it and it has a North American release.

One of the best shmups ever made, but the PS1 port suffers from slowdown. You can get the Taito Legends 2 collection on PS2 that has no slowdown, but lacks the extras of the PS1 port.

Available on Sega Saturn with better-looking backgrounds, but the PS1 version has more content.
