Don't worry Anon, check the treasury, it's there.
You can't lose items in RomaSaGa 2, even if you trash them or have characters equipped with them die, they all still go into the treasury.
Just be careful not to miss some items though, the Somon Ring is one of those.

The DS SaGa remakes are prety easy and straightforward, but I'm gonna jump on the SaGa Frontier bandwagon here, go play it, it has some truly unique stories and characters, and it's an excellent, if not a bit too easy entry.
Besides, during early stages of development it was meant to be Romancing SaGa 4, and it shows.
