Neat, I didn't know that. I've seen the despecialized editions and wondered what their resources were. Although nowadays I tend to just pop in the VHS for nostalgia factor. Plus the sound system on my CRT kicks the shit out of my LCD. Audio is like 75% of immersion anyway.

Thanks. It's been a slow build over the last several years. Most expensive thing was the big audio amp.

I just got done playing FFVII a couple of months ago. Pressing select on the battle screen brings up a little description menu for abilities, items and targets, and if you ever get caught in a back-attack, tap the shoulder button to start running away, but release it. Your dudes will turn around so they won't take double damage from enemy attacks. And if multiple characters are ready for their turn at the same time, you can press triangle to pick who you want to go next. Oh, and you can use L and R while running to go diagonally.
