Also, it's not a reference to anything, in CV1 you don't have to "wait", you have to carefully time your jumps or else you die. In X68K you just stay there and mash the whip as the merman mindlessly jump before you so that you whip them. At least on the rotating room you have to keep a certain timing for the medusa heads.

Just in case, I still like X68K, it's a great game, I just like making fun of australia and pointing out his cherry picks can also be counter-cherry picked.

Not him and actually that pic (>>2870893) is wrong because he's using one of the mode 7 stages in comparision when he should have used pic related. Also the mode 7 stages are just 2, and very short, not the whole game.

Why are you using a picture of the Clockwork Mansion on the IV picture? That level was cool (even if you think the rotating room was "gimmicky" or whatever argument you might present, that was just a short part of the whole level), but the Clockwork Mansion was a new level that wasn't on the original CV. You should have used stage 6, Castle Entrance, to compare.

Anyway, both IV and X68K are good games. So sad you're so pretentious that you need to hate on one of the most popular Castlevania games just to be edgy, bro.
