/vr/ - Retro Games

Hey /vr/, Need a bit of a reality check.

>Started collecting 3 years ago as a way to visit vidjya the internet deemed 'classics' like SMB3 and Mega Man X.
>posting on reddit update pics about once a month asking for recommendations for pickups
>people want to help only to show off their own collections / knowledge
>get a copy of little samson
>immediate 180, people hate my ass saying i am just showing off
>decide to wipe reddit / never go back
>collect in internet silence using top 100s lists
>want to do something with all this crap I acquired
>Start YT channel
>spending 3+ hours a day making shitty lets plays for the past 5 months

I started collecting because I didn't like (or wasn't interested in) what was getting shoveled out 3 years ago and it turned into like my only hobby. Yesterday my roomy had his gf and some friends over and they wanted to play some 007 and Mario Kart for n64 for new years but that's the extent of anyone else's give a shit in the last 6 months.

Not sure what I want, but I've been fighting this fight alone for the last year, just got back from dropping a grand on retro but it didn't 'fill the void', and never does.
