Hideyuki Yanagishima did a lot of work on Elm Knight, as this was his last big project at Micro Cabin before moving on to freelance work. According to a source (mentioned here: http://sekigames.gg-blog.com/Entry/221/)), Yanagishima did nearly all of the game's opening, which must have looked pretty cool even in 1993.
