what race is ganondorf? thread yesterday mustve 404'd, but is it confirmed what race ganondorf actually is? He's got hair like an irishman, the pronged nose of a moor and skin the color of the irish flag. I know the game says he was raised by the Gerudo, but what race are they even? Bengali? Moslem? Persians? Thanks in advance for your responses

Now /vr/, this is something that's always bothered me. When it comes to Ganondorf's race, I can't ever tell what he actually is. The red hair would indicate he's shanty irish, but the background and dark complexion would indicate he's a moslem, perhaps a moor? Both of these assumptions would hold fast when you consider that Link looks like a Briton in Ocarina of Time, with his cheekbones and pointy nose. And, obviously the man is somewhat wicked and would fit both as shanty irish or moorish, but it's a tough call. On the one hand his skin/hair are the colors of the irish flag, on the other he has the unmistakable profile of the common iberian Moor. What do you think?

Why would the king of Hyrule even trust a guy that looks like this? He looks like a weird goblin monster. Why were the character designs for OoT so all over the place?
