Hey fellas, same anon that posted about interference troubles earlier in the thread. I figured it out! It was interference, not caused by a ground loop but by my shitty component cables! I ended up taking my stuff to a friend's place and tried it out on his hardware - should have done that sooner. Thanks for your help though /crt/ squad this is easily the coolest niche interest on 4chan

I've attached a better image this time - if you're experiencing something similar, it could very well be a poorly shielded cable like mine.
