i guess you can look up the video tutorials on the doom builder website, they're always a good start
still wish we could have some simple illustrated images tutorials (like this one for 3D floors), but yeah

I worked off this image too and setting up the floor was kind of a bitch, I also ask a lot of questions here on using DoomBuilder 2 so I'll be happy to give back to the board by helping you with the floor.

Just figured it out.
For anybody else reading this I had to set the item to the same sector tag as the 3D floor while *also* setting the Zheight.
Though just to experiment I removed the tag and then it worked with just Zheight so I got no idea what happened there.

Reposting my "How to do true 3D Floors" tutorial because apparently it's needed.

Also if you wanted to do 3D floors with voxels just make a placeholder sprite, code it in as a decoration with DECORATE with the height and width you want it to be, and use Doom Builder's Z-HEIGHT property to set the thing's height in the map.

not too long ago someone here made a really great tutorial for 3D floors (pic related)

can we have more? most tutorials are meh/bad videos
