/vr/ - Retro Games

I'm working my way through the SNES's library and I'm wondering what other games I should play before moving onto the next console. Currently I've played:
>Chrono Trigger
>Donkey Kong Country 1-3
>Earthbound
>F-Zero
>LoZ: ALttP
>Megaman X1-3
>Star Fox
>Super Mario Kart
>Super Mario RPG
>Super Mario World
>SMW2: Yoshi's Island
>Super Metroid
>Super Punch-Out!!

And I plan on playing games from these series either on another console or once I've played some other entries into the series:

>Final Fantasy
>Mana series

This game is terrible now. The AI characters get stuck behind everything, you get juggled by enemies, the wait-to-attack bullshit make the battle system tedious, being able to carry only 4 of a particular item is unheard of, etc etc etc. Actually I can't believe anyone even liked this game at all.

So apparently this is higly acclamied and subject of a lot of nostalgia. How come? This fucker is completely unplayable. Just noped out of it right after the ant boss. Firstly, the camera is so bad. It doesnt scroll properly, like lttp, so that the player always is on the center of the screen. It only scrolls when you hit the edge, making you vulnerable to surprise attacks. The stamina-like system they tried to pull off had potential but just makes the gameplay less fluid and less fun. Story and characters seem plain. Seriously, is this a game worth playing despite all this?Does it pick it up later?

What do you thing of secret of mana /vr/?

Secret of Mana. Its music is awesome and you know it.

I never played this game but I keep seeing it mentioned recently. What's the general consensus on this game? Play or Pass?

What are some great co-op games for the snes, nes or sega?

Other than Turtles in time, secret of mana, gunstar heros, battle toads, double dragon, contra, donkey kong country ect. I'm looking for things a little less obvious. I keep seeing the same damn 15 titles in other forums. I was wondering if you guys might have any better suggestions.
