I remember being excited for the game based on its promotional trailer. Had to wait a bit since it was held for a Wii launch but I stuck with the GameCube and got it when it came out. I didn't get around to playing it until much later after I got a 2nd copy for $15USD so I can preserve my copy, then even after that I forgot I got a 2nd copy and found the same deal again, to which I finally played it and fell in love with Midna. While it is a good game, I don't hold it in as high regard as you do, as my favorite of the series is the original one for the NES, but what I liked best about Twilight Princess was that it gave creepy horror vibes like what I got with the original's labyrinths. Now that I finally got a Wii, I am considering getting it again just for the mirrored experience.

I skipped the Wii version and have yet to really get around to the Wii-U version but I believe it may be most consistent with Link being a southpaw. I think it was initially developed for the Gamecube so that was the target specification they made the game with in mind initially. I don't think they originally thought of rereleases at the time of creation so that "Only For" label probably applied at the time, but the ones I have does not have that indicator, so I got later releases of the game.

That's a shame since I like it for having a creepy/spooky mood that is reminiscent of the very first game which is my favorite. I can still enjoy the game even when I prefer others in the series, it is still a pretty good game. Also, Midna just puts the game over for me.

I like it because I thought the twilight realm was sort of spooky. Harkening back to my favorite, the first original Zelda game where the catacombs were mysterious and dangerous, Twilight Princess has some horror elements that intrigues me. I have not made a judgement if I prefer Twilight Princess or Wind Waker more in terms of play, but one thing the former has going for it is the cute imp Midna.

I enjoyed their games since the Dreamcast. Last I ever got from them was the Sakura Flamingo Archives. They tend to release their games in the twilight years of a console. It is unfortunate the cel-shaded style does make a few of their games look like Flash titles, which may deter some.

Got one when it was new due to the hype, but did not initially get around to it and it stayed sealed. A used copy was $15 at the time, so I played that one, and then I forgot it was the one I had instead of Wind Waker and got another.

I still don't have that game. Got some duplicates simply because I had forgotten I had the game, and it was cheap because no one wanted these games at the time.

While it does not have the impact as I favored the very first one on the NES, I am still glad to have played through it. I like the spookyness they brought back which was one aspect of the original one's labyrinths. Imp Midna is cute too. I hope to get the HD version one day.

I see them as different games. OoT is like a harem anime, with Saria, Malon, Ruto, and Zelda. Whereas in Twilight Princess, you spend your time with imp Midna.

I want to get the Wii-U version, but it is hard to find.

I favor the first title for the NES. I do like this one for bringing the spookyness of back to the series as the first one had it with the labyrnths.
