Trip 'em yourself. They don't do a ton of damage but they do have a large radius. Use them to soften enemies up so you can put them down in less shots with other guns.

i only knew about the grey cultist on the left side of the door because there was a window that i saw him from earlier
from that, i could infer that he'd have an accomplice somewhere on the right side
but i didn't even bother to remember that when i opened the door, which is why i prefired at nothing
