If you were a Salaryman in in Japan in the late 90s or otherwise you wouldn't have time for video games since you're probably working between 80-120 hours a week for your company. Japanese professional have no souls by the time they are 25. Most people playing video games back then and to this day are kids, middle school kids, and neets; high school kids barely play games because of how impossibly high the standards are in that country. no wonder they have one of the highest suicide rates in the world.
