I stand corrected. It was an earlier PS1 game for me, but not launch window. My memory is a bit hazier given my old age.

Well, I've always liked it. It was really cool and took advantage of being fully 3D in its day. Being a Shirow property was all the more reason as his works were very popular then. I don't recall anyone being disappointed the main play was not the Major, since there were times in the comics she's inside the Hutikoma or they were goofy sentient on their own (sort of like Disgaea Prinnys). There is a pretty cool FPS recently which I remembered that did the Kusanagi justice as the robo-girl.

Those are very nice.
>People love machines in 2029 A.D.
5 more years to the Motoko shaped love machines. Something to brighten up our already dystopian cyberpunk future.

I don't. I was just there in those days, and it's mostly stuff from clearance sections. The game was a dime a dozen in recycle shops; the blu-ray is a relic of a time before everyone streams; the mice are old WinXP USB 1.0 speeds no one wants when it is up to 3.2 or something now.

I remember first playing the arcade game at the end of Zayre/Ames stores. It was already impressive with its triple screen setup, but I remember intentionally taking torso damage with the red ninja. It is really cool how the insert credit jingle mixes in well with the songs that were playing.

I remember the levels had a sort of office layout. The level layouts made a lot more logical sense than Wolf3D to an office setting. Never did finish the game since I was running a 386DX2-40 at the time, and the game refused to run on a Pentium-75, leading me to eventually get a 486DX4-100 just to play it. Of the early levels I did play on a shit framerate, I remember hiding and healing in washrooms and picking off individual robots instead of getting surprised and reacting to the situation.

Terminator Rampage was one of my regret purchases and it is one of the few games I ever managed to sell away, I am not sure I regret that too. It reviewed well in magazines, and Rampage did do what I imagined would have happened: Skynet would build itself in the past as backup plan to ensure its future will happen. I really wanted to like the game since I was a fan of the two movies I did see, the 2nd movie was the biggest film of its time and Rampage came out not too long after. If it ran better, maybe I would have stayed around to enjoy Future Shock.

I get it now. Daddy Mulk. We will proceed with the Mark plan.

Love the song. I can still hear the enemy screaming "retreat!" to this song. Would have been great to see these in-house bands like falcom's JDK band perform video game music live.

Anon delivers. I still enjoy perusing old manuals and magazine articles. A relic of the past, but part of my nostalgic memories with the games.

Which physical release is better to get?

Most of those are point & click games, but they do have a Cyberpunk atmosphere to their settings. The setting was pretty en vogue in the 80s and 90s.

I figured you'd appreciate the monstrosities in that series were called boomers. The music of the 80s and the story of Bubblegum Crisis may not jive with you, but it does have the setting and pretty good animation in its day for traditional cel animation techniques without computer rendering assistance. Picked up a used Blu-Ray of the OVA series for $7USD, but I realize I do not have a blu-ray player I am willing to use (the PS3 CECHA01 need to get new paste and whatever reballed means) so I hope to save up enough for a One X or 4pro by this year's Black Friday.

I hope to save up enough from now to Black Friday/Cyber Monday to get the system to play the new game. The huge robot ninja is like "fuck stealth" it's a big ass Transformer. I hope copies are still available by then or cheap.

I just saw a new trailer to the upcoming sequel and I hope to save up enough by Black Friday to get the system it could play on, but Ninjawarriors Again on the Super Famicom is very enjoyable to play. Could get you hyped for the sequel too.

The arcade game was the highlight of going to the now defunct Ames stores. Everyone else shops, and I get to enjoy some fun arcade games. The extra wide 3 screens (mirror trickery to eliminate the screen edges) was impressive.

I really liked how inserting a credit mixed well into that song in >>4579641 posting. Also I may have deliberately taken torso damage in the arcade game.

Not the same poster but I had no idea it was on the PS4. I am falling so far behind, and I really wish I had the money to get the new consoles. I enjoy playing the game via dedicated emulation computer via MAME, but nice to know there's some games that interest me on the new consoles.
