When you reach for those shells, you'd have to let go with your trigger hand and load while the gun is just dangling with your supporting hand. If you're just topping off, you can't immediately fire if an enemy pops up. Unless you mean you have to stop what you're doing set the the gun down and undo the forearm bandolier to put it in more manageable place, that's even more awkward.

Feels bad. I'm always curious as to how old games would look today, even if the overall game doesnt match the original's awesomeness.
I think Quake 4 did a good job with the look of the Strogg, and Doom 3 with it's demons. I wonder how the original Quake rooster would translate to the new gen?
