Its kind of the opposite of doom, but anyone play or played the original 1998 Rainbow 6?

I remember buying it when it first came out and loving it, downloaded it last night and its still pretty decent. the crosshair is kinda fucked up though, anyone know the best way to run this? I installed the patch.
