Game identification thread? Didn't see one so I figured I'd create it.

I'm trying to figure out whether this is a childhood misconception of the game I was playing, or a true memory.

I remember a game that I could have swore was Donkey Kong Country 3. It was for the SNES. The most vivid thing I remember is that at the beginning of the game, you slide down a waterfall with you and another main character and you cannot return to that starting area of the game anymore. Was this in DKC3? I could've sworn I remember that part but when going back and playing the game, I don't encounter this at all.
