There's a masterpiece hidden somewhere in Skyward Sword. Think what you will of the art design, visually it's an extraordinarily well-animated, well-drawn, appealing-looking game that really makes the most of the Wii's hardware capabilities.

Like >>7674920 said, the hand-holding nature really mars the experience. And it would have been so easy to rectify this: have a mode for beginners where Fi bothers you all the time, have an option without. But NOPE, that might have alienated some people whose fingers slip and accidentally press the wrong option. So everyone has to suffer. That should be Nintendo's new motto.
