So I'm looking into picking up my first Amiga, but because I live in NTSC land, I'm concerned about running PAL software properly on an american machine. I actually already have a proper amiga monitor that I've been using as my primary CRT for older games, so would having RGB eliminate the PAL problem?

4. Why do you think Amiga was at all popular in the UK? I know you're American but come on, Europe is not UK and UK is not Europe. It was more popular in Germany, the Baltic region and eastern Europe if you want to generalise.

Hey /vr/ I don't come here often, mostly lurking and not posting, but right now I come looking for a few recommendations of old adventure/RPGs for PC.

Stuff I really enjoyed a lot was Quest For Glory games, Companions of Xanth, Death Gate, Universe, Realms of Arkania 2, Legend of Kyrandia, Dark Sun, Guitly and Innocent Until Caught, BloodNet, Ringworld, Space Quest games and Eye of the Beholder series.

WHAT WAS THAT GAME AGAIN? - THREAD

I'm looking for a DOS jump 'n' run which had at least 2, probably 3 games to its franchise. It was something involving "max" because the game was started with max.exe I believe.
