Is there a single device, chink or otherwise that beats the vita for emulation yet? Anything that might beat it in 2020? I know phones are the ideal but a lack of physical buttons is a deal breaker.

Vita is solidly built, lots of community support, great buttons and analog sticks. Price is extremely competitive if you get a high quality used one.

Downsides -
>No L2/R2/L3/R3 (but plenty of extra buttons you can remap)
>Can't play N64 or Dreamcast compared to some of the higher end chink devices
>Can do neat things with some modern android chink devices

Upsides -
>Native PS1 games
>Native PSP games
>Native PS Vita games
>Can output display to PC/TV

Many of the better chink devices don't even have a second analog stick
