Battlezone on a heavy-six. Swapping that Atari 2600 joystick back and forth to see who could score the highest.

Yeah, I'm old.

On the VCS/2600, cartridge space was so tight that there was no room for things like text, and there's just 1 button. So most of the games are really simple arcade style stuff (or just ports of arcade games), and almost anything else is so abstract that a manual is mandatory. Try playing a Swordquest game without one.

Whenever I play a Atari 2600 game, it's usually for convenience's sake, because you can fit like half the library on a single floppy and Stella is more user-friendly than MAME. Also, it has the best version of Battlezone.
