Truxton or G-Darius. I'm not a fan of the shmup genre, it really takes something that's genuinely fun for me to get into one.

For the shoot'em up fans here, how good are the Darius series? I loved G-Darius as a kid.

I know Darius is a well known franchise among shmup fans, but it's still unknown from the average player and a fucking great game.
The commands are very responsive, and both the music and the graphics are sick.
It's a great port of the arcade version that also added new stuff like a boss rush mode and shit like that.

We try to rediscover some of the ps1 games that we might've forgotten.

I'll start with G-Darius, I just remembered it after asking around a bit.

I remember as a little kid (93 birth) witnessing a lot of the 80s and 90s games, but the PSX holds the most importance in my heart because I used to watch my older bro play the shit outta it.

There were a few games I still got a faint memory of..

1. A monster fighting arena game, one of them looked like the first boss from spyro 3?
2. Another was a stealth-like game (not MGS) where you had 3 routes to take
3. A game with robots where you moved around this flat map thing? They had this scary red glow I think.
