You must come from an alternate universe or something, cause DDA is generally regarded to be one of the better games in the series, if not the best. It's just kinda obscure due to coming out only on the GBA and having a small print run.

He was wearing red on the GB version's JP boxart too. They weren't consistent with the Lee brothers' hair colors between games, so it's not surprising they would mix up their outfits too.

I wouldn't call it obscure, but the GB version of Double Dragon doesn't get enough love. Double Dragon II is pretty decent too, if a bit simplistic, although I prefer the Kunio version. Don't bother with Double Dragon 3.

Double Dragon I on the Game Boy is a pretty underrated game and in many ways better than its NES counterpart. It feels like a remix between the first two NES games in a way. I really love the JPN cover art.

Double Dragon II is not as good though, since it's a bit too easy (you have a dragon punch move that can kill nearly every punk in one or two blow) and half of the levels are shamelessly recycled, but it's a fine ride for as long as it lasts.

Don't bother with Double Dragon 3.

I like this version better than the NES rendition. Posting JPN cover art, because I'm not a fan of the US one.
