euro N64 supports svideo, you just need a specific cable or mod a NTSC one.

pal N64 svideo need some additional components, often missing on 3rd party cables because they're made for NA. If you use small ones you can fit them in the plug

ok, stock NES can only output composite at best, there's the NESRGB mod that adds a lot of output options but it's a fairly extensive mod.

Now, SNES and N64 normaly support S-video, but PAL versions require additional components that are missing in NA/JP cables. Are you in PAL land ?

I have a PAL SNES and the C line needed the cap and resistor.
