Reminder that your family and collection deserves special protection, so consider installing a fire suppression system around critical spots.

I had an Inergen-based system installed in my house and garage 5 years ago for under $10k. Compared to old Halon-based system, Inergen is perfectly save to use in civil environments, since the oxygen amount never drops to critical levels for humans, but is sufficiently low to extinguish fires.
