GBA SP, the OG has the worst screen of all time and the Micro's downright uncomfortable and it lost the backwards compatibility too, also having a clamshell design protects the screen and makes it almost as portable as the Micro with few of its shortcomings in comparison, to me it's simply a no brainer, I had OG as a kid and wanted the SP.

Nowadays though? I'd just emulate, any of those emulation handhelds o /hhg/ would do, or maybe a Steam Deck if you're feeling fancy and want to also play modern video games, anything goes.

A Note 20 Ultra sounds fantastic, still better than most current midrange smartphones to be fair, It sounds sweet to emulate DS on. 8BitDo seems to get a mixed reception here, though I like them as I've never had a problem with their stuff, and it's quite cheap, depending on what you get. I'd say it's the main benefit of getting a controller for a smartphone over a dedicated handheld, most of the controllers are quite cheap, so if they break it's fine, unless you go for a Backbone of Kishi, I don't think they're all that worth it for their cost, but that's just me. Hope you enjoy your RP4 Pro!

One of them is the standard RP4 and the other one is the RP4 PRO, so the renders are different because they really are different devices, anon. I personally hate both, I prefer when the button's more subtle, black with the letter/symbol carved into it or printed gray/white, but that's just me...
