/vr/ - Retro Games

Just got a surface 2, only emus I can get are Game boy, Advance, Color, NES, SNES, Lynx, Sega Genesis, Sega Gamegear, NeoGeo Pocket, Wonderswan and Pc Engine

I know Gameboy advance came out in 2001, but most of those are retro, so what are the essentials?

Am I missing something? Some have said this is the greatest game of all time, it has 10/10 reviews in lots of places. I don't see why, it just seems like a perfectly playable and average game. The story is just the same plot used in Metal Gear 2 and MGS. I'm on Stage 4 and I lost Holly/Meryl/Jenner who I'm meant to be following and I'm kind of stuck. What is so amazing about this game?

I finished AC!D 2 yesterday, by the same director, and I agree, that game is an underrated, fascinating take on Metal Gear. Ghost Babel though, I just do not get the praise.
