I think there might be a way to get higher resolutions over RGB Scart for the original Xbox (I'm using an automatic switch before anyone asks why). I've been looking at the nkpatcher vga bios and DAC datasheets and it seems that it is possible to configure them to output various types of signals, one of which is RGsB, what's interesting is that for at least the Conexant DAC (1.0-1.3) the documentation seems to show that you're able to configure the registers in such a way to allow you to send any signal you want over what would be useful as the sync line. Also, you can disable sync on the other DAC outputs. With this it should be possible to output Gs on the sync line (DAC_D) while outputting proper RGB on DAC_A/B/C. I unfortunately dont know very much about how to configure these registers and if anyone would like to take a look I'd be happy to upload the source and datasheets for someone to take a stab at. Revision 1.6's DAC is a bit of an enigma and cant be configured but it seems like all earlier revisions can be.

For the record I've been trying to figure this out for awhile now but also have a hard time testing because I still need to get a modchip. If anyone has the proper tools and interest I'll upload the files and go into more detail.
