Slash Diablo is a Diablo 2 private server established on reddit.com/r/slashdiablo/
Before you cry reeee leddit, it’s literally just an autistic gaming community utilizing a free hosting service to trade items and discuss server resets and class builds.

Why you should play on Slash instead of Battlenet:
>Vanilla server
>No botting
>No duping
>No spamming
>No temp bans
>No d2jsp autists
>Can load multiple characters into a game
>World chat integration so you can chat with autists
>Worldwide server support; eg. players in Europe create Europe-hosted games and Americans can connect to them (and vice versa)

This means
>economy isn’t destroyed by dupers (see img) and botters, but there still exists a solid veteran community that drives demand for rare items
>can trade and mule with yourself without relying on sketchy “permed” bnet games
>can do brainless LK or Pindle or whatever runs every 30 seconds without getting fucked by 5 games/hour bnet limitations--don’t need to swap cd keys

Cons (only for the speedrunnerfags)
>Optional server-supported maphack (with built-in expanded resolution).
Really that just means instead of 50% of the playerbase maphacking on bnet, you 100% know everyone is maphacking.
>Value of items like CtA are lowered given the ability to run barbarian alts, however this increases the value of warcries baba items, enchant sorc items, etc.

Why singleplayer players should give up singleplayer
