Ahh, sorry /crt/ I don't know if you guys frown on this kind of topic but it doesn't seem worth making an entire thread about it.

I want to have a component/RCA video out on my NES-101 (for use with my new(ish) slick little Sony CRT). I'm a competent solderer and even have the necessary "Nintendo security bit" screwdriver.

I've seen there are alright guides online that can walk you through this, but I'm struggling with understanding what parts are needed for this "AV mod" what I'm building up to here is this:

tl;dr I have an NES-001 as well - could I just take the parts out of this and work it into my NES-101 for the AV mod? Or am I screwed to buy one of those "DIY" kits?
