Look at it from this perspective. The Dreamcast came out in 98/99' and was allowed on the board in 2014. When it was 15 years old. The PS2 came out in 2000, and it is now 20 years old. If the dreamcast could get in when it was just 15 I don't see any reason other than semantics about game quality baring the PS2 from being considered /vr/ at this point.
