Miyamoto was a one trick pony really, and never did much past the Famicom era. Compare him to someone mutli-faceted like Keiji Inafune who had a multi-decade career of hit after hit. Artist, designer, comceptor, character design, creator, producer, executive, CEO, etc he did it all. The amount of series he persoanlly created is too many to name, but he had a hand in all of them. All of them variying from horror, to action, to platformer, to sci-fi. You can just tell when a game had that special "Inafune touch" that gave it that extra bit of magic.
