Retro Consoles Wiki is a site meant to aggregate technical information about basically anything related to electronic gaming. This includes repairs, mods, programming info, or whatever seems relevant for just about anything you can think of: old consoles, new consoles, gaming computers, handhelds, arcade machines, and even those terrible Tiger LCD games. The wiki currently lacks most of this content, but it continues to grow and needs your help.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

If you have technical knowledge about any particular console or device, feel free to add the info to the wiki. In lieu of direct information, feel free to add links to guides you found helpful or insightful. You do not need an account to add information, so you can just contribute as you please.

Content that would be most helpful includes:
+ Pics of circuitboards
+ Identification of chips on circuitboards along with links to documentation
+ Mod and repair guides
+ Programming info
+ General repair skills and tools - the site could use a decent description (or relevant link) of proper soldering technique, for example
+ General information - the goal of the wiki is to be comprehensive. Therefore, information which relates to a console's history and the variations that existed is welcome and encouraged. This applies to manufacturers as well.
