>Were there any games you really wanted to play but for whatever reason you never got to play them?
More than a few. Oddly enough, the one I remember the most was Gilligan's Island on the NES. The only reason I even knew it existed was because there was a list of codes for it in the book that came with my Game Genie. I was really into Gilligan's Island when I was a kid, and I think I mentioned it to my mom a few times, but she was never able to find a copy. Obviously, it's probably for the best that I never got a chance to play it because it's total shit. I still say I'll pick up a copy if I ever find it for cheap at a flea market or in a game lot, but part of me feels like I should just leave it in the past.

Also, I always wanted to play Chrono Trigger because of this ad I saw in an issue of GameFan as a kid. I was big into Back To The Future and time travel, so I was already interested, and I loved the crazy frog swordsman and I thought the girl in glasses was wicked cute. I wasn't into RPGs, though, and by that late in the SNES life cylce, CT was actually a kind of hard game to find at reasonable prices (my friend's brother was only able to get him a copy because he knew a guy who worked at Funcoland who held onto a preowned cart for him, but he still got charged 60 bucks for it, no box, manual or anything). I watched a 5-hour speedrun of the game on Youtube around 2005 with one of my friends, and it reminded me how much I had always wanted to play it. Picked up the DS remake in 2008 and it's been one of my favorite games ever since.
