/vr/ - Retro Games

We get a lot of magazine threads on /vr/ but here's something more specific - what are some old reviews that are WAY off base either with praise or criticism? Gamefan, despite it's weeby reputation LOVED Cybermorph for some reason. Supposedly the editor was tripping on acid when he wrote the review because he really oversells it and makes it sound like a transcendent experience...but the all the editors loved it because it got some insanely high scores. It beat fucking Rondo of Blood which was reviewed in the same issue. Full coverage of the game linked below.
