Not retro, but one of the things I love most about Just Cause 2 is that the vehicle physics really reminds me of Sega Rally. So much of that game for me was playing it like an open world rally racer. I yearn for a real racing game where the waypoints can be an hour of continual driving away.

Not retro, but the slippery physics in Just Cause 2 makes driving feel like playing Sega Rally, which is a lot of how I spent my time playing that game.

Having a track that even going full tilt takes almost an hour to go around is awesome in my books.

It's not retro, and it's not Britain, but that's pretty much what Just Cause 2 was for me. The car handling in that game really reminds me of Sega Rally and I've spent a ton of time just driving around that massive island pretending that's what it is.
