this game was so fun for the 1st and 6th and final levels because they were the old school on rails type. I don't mind the on foot levels, but too many arwing stages had ugly all range mode.. No disrespect if that's what you prefer, but it's just not for me. i don't like when a fighter wizzes passed you and you have to do a u turn and re-orient to find them. that is more fun in multiplayer.

If that game could come back I'd like it if starfox or another nintendo game could. otherwise it is back to 64 for the 1000th time

If you have a PVM, then you should use test cards to calibrate it probably. I don't know anything about them, but that has to be how professionals use them.

This game is elder-god tier. It's like a delicious dessert that is over in one sitting. It's so good that you don't need to be reminded of it's greatness constantly

Not dangerous at all. Most distributions have built in over clock settings that don't void the warranty. In retropie you just set it to the Pi2 option during the setup. I don't really no if it's necessary. It was just part of the guide I followed and it runs great. The biggest mistake people make setting them up is not using a class 10 sd card (samsung evo cards are cheap and work great).

I guess I should add the reason why I say this is because most people can't code. Doing the graphics is a way others can contribute.

Oh yeah

I just heard of the MSU-1. From my understanding the specification has only been implemented in software. I guess the idea is to implement the 'chip' as an FPGA eventually and work of an SD card.

Just one question. Why?

Working within the limitations of a system is part of the art in creating a game. I figure /vr/ would appreciate this more than any other board. Otherwise we would all just play Android games because the capabilities of the hardware is a superset of everything retro.

MSU-1 makes retro an aesthetic, not a (bygone) necessity.
